This role carries a high level of safeguarding responsibilities. Full safeguarding checks will be carried out on the successful applicant. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.

We are looking to appoint someone to the full time residential role of Boarding Assistant working in one of our Boarding Houses. The successful candidate will share the responsibility for the well-being and welfare of the boarders in the House. They will assist the Housemistress and Assistant Housemistress in the smooth running of the House. The successful candidate will be caring, positive and conscientious with a good sense of humour, flexibility, stamina and attention to detail.

This post would suit someone already pursuing a career in a boarding school environment or interested in doing so. Involvement in the wider life of the school is expected.

This is a full–time post, working term-time only with an associated salary in the region of £20,000 per annum
