Sue Bruce is Head of PHSE and Housemistress at Fettes College. Following graduation in a BSc Hons in Geoscience at St Andrews University, and whilst I enjoyed my degree, I went on the Brunel University to do my teacher training in PE. Quite quickly I realised that guidance and pastoral care was the area of teaching I wanted to be involved in.
Fettes College fulfilled my intent when I was appointed Head of Girls Games and subsequently, House Parent and Head of PSHE. I am a BSA Accredited boarding practitioner, a member of the Charted college of teachers, a member of the Education Committee at a local Prep School, the Welfare Officer at a local tennis club as well as the longest-serving Senior House Parent at Fettes College (16years!).
