We are looking to recruit a Boarding House Matron to join the team in a Girls Boarding.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, ideally within a school environment, and be warm, caring and nurturing. You will have a passion for supporting children, ensuring that they are happy, feel secure and are motivated; supervising them whilst developing and promoting their independence. You will be an excellent communicator and listener. A flexible, can-do approach is essential as well as being highly organised with sound administration skills.
In addition to supporting the Housemistress in the pastoral care of the pupils, you will be responsible for supervising the housekeeping team ensuring the cleaning and housekeeping standards are maintained within the House.
